For Turo & car-sharing hosts
Catch the ticket.Review the right trip.
Tolls, tickets and violations can appear after a trip. Citation Sentry checks supported sources for your plates, compares results with imported trip dates, and routes exceptions for review.
Why hosts end up paying their guests' tickets
Notices arrive late
A ticket mailed to the registered owner can take weeks to reach you. By then the guest is three trips back in your history.
Reimbursement windows close
Turo gives hosts a limited window after a trip ends to invoice a guest for a ticket. Miss it and the charge is yours.
Matching by hand is slow
Lining up a ticket's date and time against trip start and end times, car by car, is the part nobody has time for.
How it works
Add your cars
Upload a list of plates, or add them one at a time.
Add your trips
Import trip dates as a CSV so every charge can be lined up against who had the car.
Scan on a schedule
Scans run automatically and tell you what's new since last time.
Review the evidence
Compare each ticket with its trip and check Turo's current rules before creating an invoice in Turo.
Good to know
Which tickets can it find?
Citation Sentry brings tolls, tickets and vehicle violations into one workflow through a growing source network. Availability varies by location and source. Every scan records the sources checked and their results, so your team can review the evidence. Contact us about your fleet's locations and the charges you need to track.
How long do I have to charge a Turo guest for a ticket?
Check Turo's current help center and your trip agreement before requesting reimbursement. Deadlines and required evidence can change.
Does it connect to my Turo account?
No. Citation Sentry works from your plates and a CSV of your trip dates, so it doesn't need your Turo login.
